Mugnier Bonnes Mares Domaine Rene Engel concentrationPRE ORDER About Winery The Mugnier family established their domaine in 1863 when Frdric Mugnier, a successful liqueur merchant, acquired vineyards in Chambolle Musigny, including the famed Clos de la Marchale. For much of the 20th century, the estates holdings were leased out, and the familys direct involvement in winemaking diminished. In 1985, Jacques Frdric Mugnier, representing the fifth generation, returned to Burgundy and began reclaiming the
