Constructed of partially silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an oval ring surrounding a white enameled disc, overlaid by a silvered German national eagle clutching two oak leaves, with the centre bearing an enameled HJ insignia, the reverse with three visible rivets securing the obverse applique in place, with a horizontal pinback, unmarked,
