This is a very well preserved Luftwaffe dagger, first pattern, measuring 487 mm in total length. The dagger features a blade constructed of nickel plated magnetic steel, with semi sharpened edges and a sharpened tip, measuring 310 mm in length. The blade sits securely in the upper crossguard, with a thin black leather washer covering the seam. The crossguard itself is constructed of nickel silver and consists of three ribbed
