Les Heurtes Bises is a lieu dit in the village of Merfy, where poor sandstone soils produce particularly low yielding Chardonnay grapes. The levage for this 2018 wine was 18 months in 228 litre barrels and the wine was disgorged in July 2021 with a dosage of 4g l. Profoundly mineral yet textured with extraordinary ageing potential.
