An Order of Leopold, Knight and an Order of the Black Star, Knight Hold 1862 – June 6An Order of Leopold, Knight, Civil Division, in silver, a white enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials, oak and laurel leaf wreath segments in each quadrant, obverse medallion featuring a lion on a black enamel field encircled by a red enamel ring inscribed L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE, reverse medallion presenting the monogram of King Leopold, suspended from a surmounting crown, and original ribbon, measures 39. 5mm (w) x 64. 7mm (h), damage to obverse
